Councillor Mohammed Razaq and the local Labour Party are responding to local concerns over graffiti in our area. Cllr. Razaq was recently contacted by a local resident about graffiti including offensive language on the electrical junction box at the corner of Leyden Street and Gardens and also on walls in Sandfield Street. That graffiti has now been removed.

Councillor Mohammed RaqaqCouncillor Razaq said:

“We’ve been keeping an eye out for problem graffiti in and around the Leyden Street area. If you’ve noticed any local graffiti or vandalism I am very keen to make sure the City Council and other services take action. Making a safer, cleaner neighbourhood for everyone is my number one priority.”

Labour knows that people want to take pride in their community. With your help in reporting local problems our public services can respond quickly. We’ve put together a list of useful phone numbers for reporting any problems overleaf.
