Ann wins battle to keep Kelvindale and Hyndland Post Offices open

Glasgow North Labour Party is pleased that Kelvindale Post Office and Hyndland Post Office will now remain open for business. The detailed submission by Ann McKechin MP specifically rebutting each of the problematic conclusions drawn by the Post Office’s Network Change consultation programme, which could have seen half Glasgow North’s offices close, has won the argument in favour of a reprieve for this local facility.
In addition, residents’ signatures totalling over 4,000 collected by Ann’s local petition against the plans, have forced a U-turn by Post Office Limited and everyone who added their name can rightly claim a victory for common sense on this issue.
